EVENIA
Run to Election Day 2023
Evenia holds elections every four years. This year, our current matriarch, Akira Campbell, has chosen not to stand for election again. Whoever it becomes, the Evenia board will change anyway.

The 25th of May is election day. It is the time when all residents of Evenia pull up to the ballot boxes to vote for our new matriarch. We are hugely curious to see what the outcome will be! The 2 top favourites are Alina Jones, from the far-left party CSM and Posie Brown from the centre-right party FPO.

We took to the streets to ask our residents a few questions. This showed that 89% of those eligible to vote had already decided who they will vote for. The remaining 11% are still in doubt.

For those in doubt, we list below again what the party points are of the top favourites.
Who are they?

CSM, the communist social-matriarchy party. It is a far-left party that stands for equality among all citizens. They want a standard wage for every woman. This means that every woman in Evenia will earn the same salary no matter what job they have. Furthermore, they also want there to be equal taxes for all and for these to be as low as possible.
FPO, Fertility Party Other, wants to make Evenia's fertility programme a part of our standard health care. This means it will be reimbursed by the government. This is their most significant party point. Other than that, they want to make some minor changes such as a small reduction in taxes for the lowest class. They are convinced that Evenia is currently run by a good matriarch and are careful to announce huge changes to reassure the people of our country.

We wish everyone a great election day and good luck in making a good choice. On 25 May, we will keep you up-to-date 24/7 on all new developments in our politics on our live blog.
