The great pottery throw down

In two weeks, it’s that time of the year again: our annual pottery competition in Eden.

We all know that our craftsmanship in Evenia is excellent. It’s a passion that is shared among families and a skill that is passed on from mother to daughter. We must not forget this tradition! It is a tradition that has gone on for many years and is part of who we are, as Evenians.

Pot baking will forever be done by women in Evenia. Pottery was taught to us by the lovely Eve, as so many other things.

We want to honour this tradition by organizing a competition every year, where every Evenian can display their finest work of pottery. It is led by a team of experts that also gives workshops to tourists.

Special edition

This year, we are outdoing ourselves. Since it will be the 10th edition, we want to make it very special. Therefore, the person, or pot, that wins, will be exhibited in Eden’s largest museum. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Normally, only items from professionals are exhibited in the museum. The competition is on!

For this special edition, we have chosen to do the event in another location. The pottery competition will take place in the beautiful Garden, in Eden. Can you already imagine what that will look like?

Please note that there will be 200 booths available for bakers. The rent for one booth is 50 Nia. There are several rounds through which the bakers must go. So, the event continues throughout the day. But do not worry, Evenians! During the event, there will also be lots of things for visitors to do. Think workshops, food stands, ... The goal of this event is to bring all Evenians together. So come together with your family, friends, acquaintances and make it a fun day!
